EmmaWelcome to my practice! I am a clinical psychologist whose goal is to help children, adolescents and young adults utilize their strengths to become more competent and confident, and to support parents as they help their children grow. My practice is located in Rochester,  NY.

As a licensed psychologist, I have been trained in the diagnosis and treatment of psychological, emotional, behavioral and interpersonal problems in children, adolescents and young adults.  I have expertise working with a number of concerns including:

  • gender identity and sexuality concerns;
  • mood and anxiety and disorders;
  • behavioral concerns;
  • learning or academic concerns; and
  • adjustments to life stressors, including adoption, divorce, and illness and death of family members.

I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rochester in 2003 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC).  I remain an adjunct faculty member at URMC in the Department of Psychiatry. I am a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).
