GROUPS & WORKSHOPS

A different way to do the work.

Groups and workshops offer something individual work cannot: the opportunity to reflect alongside others who are asking some of the same questions. My groups and workshops combine thoughtful structure, guided reflection, and shared experience, creating space for both individual insight and connection.

CURRENT OFFERING

Coming Home

An IFS-Informed Journaling Group

A ten-week online group for people interested in understanding themselves more deeply through Internal Family Systems and reflective writing. Each week combines guided learning, journaling, and conversation to help you become more familiar with the parts of yourself that protect, strive, worry, withdraw, care for others, and shape the way you move through your life.

Sometimes we understand ourselves differently when we're not doing it alone

What to Expect

My groups are structured enough to provide direction and spacious enough to allow your own experience to unfold. You won't be expected to share more than feels right, and there is no pressure to arrive with particular insights or answers

Learn

  • Brief, accessible teaching introduces a theme or idea

Reflect

  • Guided prompts create time to explore your own experience in writing

Notice

  • You'll be invited to approach what emerges with curiosity rather than judgment

Connect

  • Optional conversation allows participants to share, listen, and learn from one another

Why Journaling?

Writing slows the conversation down. It gives us a way to notice thoughts, feelings, and different parts of ourselves before rushing to explain or resolve them.

Within an IFS framework, journaling can become a particularly useful way of developing curiosity toward your inner experience and hearing from parts of yourself that may otherwise be easy to overlook.

You might find a group helpful if ...

You're curious about yourself and want a more structured way to explore.

You understand many of your patterns rationally, but would like to experience them differently.

You're interested in IFS and want to explore it without beginning individual IFS therapy.

You value both private reflection and the perspective that comes from being with others.

A NOTE ABOUT GROUPS

Groups and workshops are educational and experiential in nature and are not a substitute for individual psychotherapy or crisis care. Specific eligibility, participation requirement, and the nature of each offering will be described on the individual program page.
